Announcements
Let's Keep Shining, Superstars.

We have many families in our Lincolnwood community who rely on SNAP benefits to assist with food. Unfortunately, with the government shutdown, these benefits will likely be delayed in November, leaving many in our community hungry. Ms. Wildman, Lincolnwood's amazing social worker, has organized a food drive for us to help support families within our school community. So we ask you, please, if you can, sign-up to support our Superstars!

Evanston School Children's Clothing Association (ESCCA)

ESCCA provides clothing, jackets, shoes and boots at no cost to D65 students in need.  Find more info at escca.org

How to access ESCCA's services?

If you or someone you know would benefit from accessing ESCCA’s free services, please contact Lincolnwood School nurse Robin Axel axelr@district65.net or social work Anne Wildman wildmana@district65.net.

Volunteers needed this week and beyond!

If you are interested in helping families "shop" for clothing items at the ESCCA store at JEH, we would love your support!  Anyone high school sophomore and older is welcome to volunteer.  No experience is necessary; supervisors will be on hand to guide you.  Sign up at ESCCA Volunteer Opportunities.

We are also in need of volunteers to fill roles in the Shoe Room and New Clothes Room.  Learn more and volunteer here.

Room Rep Donations

In order to enable Room Reps to better support classrooms this year, we are requesting a suggested donation of $10 for grades K-4th. Fifth grade will have a separate fund and budget due to their unique needs and events.

The donation will enable Room Reps to support classroom parties and activities throughout the year. Depending on the class/grade, these may cover seasonal celebrations, 100-day parties, or other special celebrations for your child’s class.

We understand that it is not always possible to donate now, and please know there will be many opportunities throughout the year to donate your time or supplies, or just send an excited student to school!

Donations can be sent via Zelle to lincolnwoodptapresident@gmail.com (please put Room Rep Fund in memo line)
