Evanston School Children's Clothing Association (ESCCA)

ESCCA provides clothing, jackets, shoes and boots at no cost to D65 students in need.  Find more info at escca.org

How to access ESCCA's services?

If you or someone you know would benefit from accessing ESCCA’s free services, please contact Lincolnwood School nurse Robin Axel axelr@district65.net or social work Anne Wildman wildmana@district65.net.

Volunteers needed this week and beyond!

If you are interested in helping families "shop" for clothing items at the ESCCA store at JEH, we would love your support!  Anyone high school sophomore and older is welcome to volunteer.  No experience is necessary; supervisors will be on hand to guide you.  Sign up at ESCCA Volunteer Opportunities.

We are also in need of volunteers to fill roles in the Shoe Room and New Clothes Room.  Learn more and volunteer here.

Stay Together

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Because of an increased presence of ICE in Evanston and Skokie, the BRGS PTA wants to share a number of resources with you.

TOGETHER, WE KEEP EACH OTHER SAFE.

Kids ages 4-9! Try Hockey for Free Dec. 6 at Robert Crown Community Center

Evanston Youth Hockey Association (EYHA), home of the Jr Wildkits, invites kids to their TRY HOCKEY FOR FREE event, sanctioned by USA Hockey. This initiative is a great opportunity for kids to experience the excitement of skating and hockey for the first time, in a safe, fun and welcoming environment.

Ages: Children ages 4-9 who are new to skating and hockey. No prior experience is required.

Cost: Absolutely FREE

Equipment: Necessary equipment will be available to borrow for the session. Participants are encouraged to to bring a helmet (bike helmet will work) and wear warm clothing. Skates are available at the RCCC rental desk.

Pre-registration is highly recommended at https://tryhockeyforfree.com/event_detail/4279

This is a fantastic first step for your child to join our community. After the event, you can learn more about the Jr Wildkits Learn to Skate and Jr Wildkits ADM (American Development Model) for continued development.
